Eleonora Samsonova Osteopath for mother and baby
Meet the osteopath

About me

Pregnancy, birth, and the first months of life are times when a mother's body and her baby's body need especially gentle care. My name is Eleonora Samsonova, I'm 41, and I help the body restore its natural mobility through gentle, pain-free techniques — no abrupt movements, no pain, with respect for what the body is already going through.

Why I work this way

My path to osteopathy was long and hands-on. I started with yoga therapy and Thai massage, then studied medicine — the body's biomechanics, movement, and how stress and tension affect a person's state. Gradually, this led me to osteopathy and psychotherapy: to understanding that the body, the nervous system, and our emotions aren't separate stories, but one.

For a few years I had my own practice, where I taught individual yoga therapy sessions and worked with gua sha and Thai massage — helping relieve chronic tension and restore a sense of lightness to the body. But gradually, gentle osteopathy became the core of my practice — and I've now been working this way for more than 12 years.

This path — through movement, listening to the body, and understanding the nervous system — turned out to be especially valuable in working with mothers and babies. A woman's body goes through major changes during pregnancy and postpartum, and a newborn's body faces the intense effort of birth itself. The gentle techniques I work with help both adapt with care, without tension or pain.

How it works

Put simply: this gentle work helps the body regain:

  • eco Tissue mobility
  • eco A freer position of its structures
  • eco Natural biomechanics
  • eco The capacity to self-regulate and heal

When the body's mobility and balance are disrupted, pain, tension, movement limitations, and a general decline in wellbeing gradually appear. When the body starts moving and adapting freely again, many symptoms resolve naturally.

Techniques I use

psychology Craniosacral therapy Gentle work on the system connecting the head, spine, and pelvis — especially suited for babies.
self_improvement Myofascial release Relief of chronic tension in muscles and tissue.
favorite Visceral techniques Working with the mobility of the internal organs.
waves A biodynamic approach Working with the body's own rhythm and its capacity to self-heal.
diversity_1 Body-centered and psychotherapeutic work Because emotional state always shows up in the body.

To me, osteopathy isn't just about treating an isolated pain or symptom. It's a way of helping a person — a mother, a baby, any body — reconnect with themselves, lower their level of chronic tension, and recover a sense of inner support and wholeness.

If you're expecting, recently had your baby, or want to help your child adjust after birth, I'd be glad to welcome you.
